Software requirements


AXIGEN has the following minimal software requirements:
  • Linux OS, kernel 2.6
  • glibc version 2.3 or later
  • libstdc++ version 3.4 or later
For BSD platforms, the requirements are as follows:
  • FreeBSD 8.x or 7.x
For Solaris, the requirements are as follows:
  • Solaris 10
For MS Windows Server 2003 & 2008:
  • Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2
  • Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2
For all platforms:
  • Internet Explorer 8
  • Mozilla Firefox 3.6, 3.5

Hardware requirements


AXIGEN has the following minimal hardware requirements:
  • Processor: x86, minimum frequency 1 GHz
  • RAM: 512 MB.
  • Available space on HDD: 300 MB free space for installation purposes and default configuration files. The actual space AXIGEN will take on your hard disk depends on the number of accounts, domains, mailboxes and the size of messages stored on the mail server.
