How to set up SNMP

Description

This article describes how to enable the SNMP service and configure it.

Resolution

Before enabling the SNMP service, the Reporting service must be enabled.

To enable the SNMP service:
  1. Log into the webadmin interface.
  2. Go to the "Status & Monitoring" -> "Reporting Service" context.
  3. In the "SNMP Parameters" section check: "Enable SNMP"
  4. Enter the community name your system will use.
  5. Click the "Save Configuration" button.
NOTE: Axigen supports only SNMP version 2c (v2 community).
