How to import Windows Address Book...

This article explains the steps necessary to import the contacts from Windows Address Book into AXIGEN Webmail

First, you need to export the existing address book from your workstation. To do this, open the 'Address Book' utility (Start, Programs, Accessories, Address Book). After the 'Address Book' application opens, go to File, Export, Other Address Book.... From the list of export types, choose Text file (Comma Separated Values). You'll be asked for the path of the file to save the address book to. After entering the file name and path. In the next screen, select the fields you wish to export. Click Finish.

Next, we need to import the CSV file we previously have exported, in the AXIGEN WebMail interface. Open your favorite browser, login into your AXIGEN account and go to Contacts -> Import Contacts, click on the Browse button and choose the file that you have exported your address book to in the previous step. A message should inform you how many contacts have been imported from the specified file.
