Applying the license keys for Kaspersky components

Where should the license keys for Kaspersky components be placed.

For the anti-virus component, users will receive a *.zip file. The content of the archive should be extracted to "kav" subfolder of the Axigen working directory. The default values are:

Linux: /var/opt/axigen/kav/
Windows: C:\Program Files\Axigen Mail Server\kav

For the anti-spam component, users will receive a *.zip file. The content of the archive should be extracted to "kas" subfolder of the working directory. The default values are:

Linux: /var/opt/axigen/kas
Windows: C:\Program Files\Axigen Mail Server\kas

Extract the zip archive into the corresponding folders mentioned above. To complete the registration process stop and then start Kaspersky AntiVirus and/or Kaspersky AntiSpam from Webadmin -> Services -> Services Management.

NOTE: appinfo.kli file already exists in the corresponding folders for KAV and KAS and it is also contained in the zip file. The original file must be overridden by the one from the archive.

NOTE: The status of "Kaspersky AntiVirus expiry date" and/or "Kaspersky AntiSpam expiry date" from the Axigen license (Webadmin -> Global Settings -> License Information) should not be EXPIRED.
