This article describes how access to AXIGEN collaboration suite can be defined for Mozilla Sunbird using the iCal protocol support.
The newly introduced support for iCal, available with the AXIGEN 7.1 release, provides new methods for accessing the collaboration facilities that are built-in into AXIGEN.

Prior to continuing with this article make sure that you have enabled the iCal support into AXIGEN.
This article will detail on how to open our own default Calendar and Tasks folders, our locally defined Calendar or Task type folders and other users Calendar and Tasks folders.
This process will be conducted via the Mozilla Sunbird suite, capable of iCal access over HTTP.
For this process we will assume Example Org as our local organization with two users John Doe <jdoe@example.org> and Laura White <lwhite@example.org>.
Opening user default foldersAs user John Doe, we can open our local Calendar and Tasks folders as follows:
Select to add a new calendar, in our case this will be the AXIGEN data:

From the new configuration context select the "On the Network" option:

Opening users' personal Calendar type foldersFor our exercise we will consider the following folder hierarchy:

Adding this folder into Sunbird can be committed using the following steps:

after finishing the configuration details and authentication the new folder will be available for access.
Opening another users' foldersAssuming that our sample colleague, Laura White, has granted our user access to her folders, as in the example below (WebMail screenshot), for both the Calendar folder and Tasks
