Setup Outlook Connector

Setup the Axigen Outlook Connector for use with:

• Microsoft Outlook 2003
• Microsoft Outlook 2007

Microsoft Outlook 2003 SP3

1. Download the Axigen Outlook Connector installation package from our Downloads page:
   www.axigen.com/mail-server/download/
2. Run the installation kit and click Next on the welcome screen.
   
3. Read the End-User License Agreement and, if you agree with it, then press I Agree.
   
4. After you press I Agree, the Axigen Outlook Connector is going to be installed. Click on Finish, but not before making sure that the Add Outlook profile option is checked.
   
5. If you already have a profile, you will need to press Show Profiles in the window that appears.
6. Press Add.
7. In the newly-opened window, enter a profile name and press OK.
8. Select Add a new e-mail account and press Next.
   
9. Select Additional Server Types and press Next.
   
10. Select Axigen Mail Server and press Next.
    
11. On the next page, fill out the following fields:
    • Server Name: www.axigenmail.com;
    • IMAP Port: 993 (make sure that the Use SSL checkbox is enabled);
    • Account Name: your.account@axigenmail.com (make sure that the Windows Native checkbox is disabled);
    • Password: your account password (you might also want to check the Remember Password option).
    
12. Press OK and finish the account setup.

Microsoft Outlook 2007 SP2

1. Download the Axigen Outlook Connector installation package from our Downloads page:
   www.axigen.com/mail-server/download/
2. Run the installation kit and click Next on the welcome screen.
   
3. Read the End-User License Agreement and, if you agree with it, then press I Agree.
   
4. After you press I Agree, the Axigen Outlook Connector is going to be installed. Click on Finish, but not before making sure that the Add Outlook profile option is checked.
   
5. If you already have a profile, you will need to press Show Profiles in the window that appears.
   
6. Press Add.
   
7. In the newly-opened window, enter a profile name and press OK.
   
8. Enable the Manually configure server settings or additional server type checkbox and press Next.
   
9. Select Other, choose Axigen Mail Server, and then press Next.
   
10. On the next page, fill out the following fields:
    • Server Name: www.axigenmail.com;
    • IMAP Port: 993 (make sure that the Use SSL checkbox is enabled);
    • Account Name: your.account@axigenmail.com (make sure that the Windows Native checkbox is disabled);
    • Password: your account password (you might also want to check the Remember Password option).
    
11. Press OK and finish the account setup.
