Axigen 10.3.2 mailing list subscribe feature not working

When attempting to subscribe to my test mailing list “bulletin_1t@theholybible1.ddnsfree.com,” using the “bulletin_1t-subscribe@theholybible1.ddnsfree.com” special mailing list e-mail address, I receive the following error message:

550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable or not local.

Why is this happening? A password is set for my above-mentioned mailing list. Thank you for your help. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello,

In order to investigate this, please attach a screenshot showing the settings from the “Subscription and posting” tab of your mailing list in Webadmin interface.

Additionally please follow the steps below:

  • maximize the log level under Queue -> Processing and save the configuration
  • maximize the log level under Services -> SMTP Receiving and save the configuration
  • replicate the error using a new email to the bulletin_1t-subscribe@theholybible1.ddnsfree.com address
  • attach an archive containing the everything.txt file from the “log” subdirectory of the Axigen work dir.

The default Axigen work dir is /var/opt/axigen/ for Linux hosts and C:\Program Files\Axigen Mail Server\ on Windows hosts.

Let me know if you need more information. Thank you for your help.

Hello,

Based on the screenshot there is no obvious problem with the list’s subscription settings, that would cause this behavior. To further investigate this situation I need the log file corresponding to one such failed subscription attempt as requested in my previous post.

If the forum does not allow you to attach the txt file or the archive, please consider copying and pasting just the content around the time frame when you replicated the problem.

Best regards,
