Stupid noob question here, but I’m setting up a free version and was wondering if the postmaster account for each domain counts towards my 5 free user accounts or is it excluded due to its administrative purpose…
Just to make sure, go to your Webadmin / Global settings / License Information under it you will see license restriction and your question will be answered with those details specifically Number of Accounts / Total Allowed / Total Used.
But I think it counts.

I do not think it does. I have a system license for 20 users. Including the postmaster account, I have 21 users configured.

you are correct, postmaster does not count toward ‘seat’ totals.
