LINUX upgrade blocked by Axigen?

When attempting to upgrade a server from Fedora 28 to 29 by using
dnf system-upgrade download --releasever=29

I get the following message:-

Fedora 29 - x86_64 - Updates 5.2 MB/s | 27 MB 00:05
Last metadata expiration check: 0:00:00 ago on Fri 07 Jun 2019 06:11:34 PM EDT.
Error:
Problem: package axigen-10.2.2-1.x86_64 requires /bin/ls, but none of the providers can be installed

  • coreutils-8.29-7.fc28.x86_64 does not belong to a distupgrade repository
  • problem with installed package axigen-10.2.2-1.x86_64

Has anyone else encountered this issue and if so is there a known solution or workaround? I would really prefer not to remove the Axigen installation and reinstall after the upgrade.

I would appreciate any constructive suggestions. I haven’t been able to find any solution online, in the legacy forum or here in the community.

Regards,
Clive

Hello Clive,

We are not aware of any alternative other than the obvious one which is to reinstall axigen package (please do not forget to backup at least your Axigen working directory so you could recover for any accidental data removal).

Sorry for this inconvenience.
