  • Migrate configuration and storage to clean installation

    Hello,

a few days ago we updated our Axigen server 8.1.3 (Windows 2008 R2) to new version 10.1.5.2 on same windows maschine.
The update process finished without error, axigen was working, at least at first glance.

It tooks not long, then we got errormessages about indexfiles, which seems to be to small... so the message from our supporter.
So we modified the size of the indexfiles, but it doenst solve our problems.

Today we got problems, that some people couldn't login into webmail, the login stucked at 100 percent.
After restarting the server-service in windows, we got log-information, that multiple containers were not closed properly, for some containers there were integritiy checks.
About 11 Minutes after the server-restart the people where able to login again.

It seems, our server is slowly dying, so our intention is to install an knew windows server 2012 R2 with a clean Axigen installation.
What do we have to do, to migrate a clean config file and especially a clean storage?
Currently we have 29 container with 128 datafiles per container, which can grow up to 384MB.
Is it possible and recommendable to just use 1 container with 1 datafile?
And how can we migrate the data into this?

With our supporter we play support-ping-pong since a cuple of days, so hope to find help in this forum.
Thank you very much in advance.

    Regards,
    Stefan
