How to configure AXIGEN as mail gateway

This article explains how to configure AXIGEN as an e-mail gateway (frontend) for a specific domain

Let's presume you want to set up Axigen as a gateway for the domain example.org and you have a mail server which actually hosts the mailboxes (may be another local AXIGEN server, an Exchange server, or any other mail server), with the IP address 193.230.245.200 which listens for SMTP connections on port 25.

Navigate to Webadmin -> Security&Filtering ->Acceptance&Routing->Advanced Settings tab.
Click on "Add Acceptance / Routing Rule"
 a) Type a name for this rule
 b) In the Conditions area select: Recipient - Domain - IS - type example.org
 c) In the Actions area select: SMTP - Action - Accept
 d) Optionally  you can type and explanation for this action
 e) Save Configuration

Create another rule by clicking again "Add Acceptance / Routing Rule"
 a) Type a name for this new rule
 b) In the Conditions area select: Delivery - Relaying mail
 c) In the Actions area select: Relay - Host - type the IP address, which in our case is 193.230.245.200 and the port, in our case 25
 d) Save configuration

Test this configuration in your particular setup
