Axigen as SmartHost in front of Exchange

Hi Team,

I’m trying to use Axigen as Mail Gateway in front of Exchange, based on this article: Axigen Mail Server - How to configure Axigen as mail gateway the incoming messages are working. But I can’t find the solution how to configure the outgoing flow? Messages sent by Exchange should go through Axigen too.

Hello Zoltan,

For using Axigen for the outgoing flow you may check the following KBs:

• How to allow unauthenticated relay from a certain subnet
• How to configure Axigen to perform DKIM signing when Axigen is used as a mail gateway

Note: my personal advice should be to allow allow relaying only for authenticated sessions but this could be implemented later (like after you managed to relay unauthenticated messages received from Exchange).
