Axigen fails to start with new license key

OS: Ubuntu 20.04

Licence expired. Updated to 10.4.7. Downloaded new licence key and placed it in /var/opt/axigen. chown axigen:axigen.

ERROR: Trial version has expired
…
Failed to start LSB: Initscript for Axigen Mail Server

Any suggestion on what to do next?

Do note that, when replacing the axigen_lk.bin, the Axigen service has to be stopped.
To better understand the issue, please provide the output of the following command:
ls -ltra /var/opt/axigen/

I have the same problem, except that the server still won’t start even with the new license key. I keep getting the “expired” message in the error log. The axigen_lk.bin.txt shows the key is valid. What do I do next? I am down. . .

Please let me know the type the license you are trying to use now and also the aproximate date when you install the Axigen server
