Axigen webmail server

Hi,

I’ve installed axigen mailserver, I can configure it in webadmin etc and all but can’t access webmail page…
Send help!

Hello @lian,

From WebAdmin please check if:
1/ the WebMail service is started (Services > Service Management)
2/ the WebMail listener on port 80 and / or 443 are configured and enabled (Services > WebMail)

In case all of the above are fine please provide screen captures from above WebAdmin pages so we could understand better your problem. Also please provide Axigen version and the OS you are using.

BR,
Ioan

I downloaded the 10.3.3 version from axigen website.

Hello @lian

As you see the IPv4 and IPv6 listeners on port 80 are disabled, most probably because there is already another HTTP server on the same server.

The listeners on port 443 seems to be enabled so you may try to connect using HTTPS.

Assuming that you have double-checked that the WebMail service is started (I didn’t see the screenshot from the WebAdmin > Services > Service Management) please provide the error you get into your web browser when connecting to: https://192.168.101.100

Looking forward for your feedback.

Ioan

Oh I guess that would make sense all I needed to install was a monitoring server and this mailing server I didn’t change the defaults I don’t know much about Linux tbh.

How do I turn it on through HTTPS if that’s the case?

Hello @lian

Just copy this URL:

https://192.168.101.100

into your web browser and see if it opens WebMail interface.

Thanks for the help

Wait so now I can send messages and whatnot with no issues or do I need to configure more stuff?
