Beta X4 upgrade broke webmail

After upgrading to X4 Beta webmail folders all say “This folder contains no items.” but there are messages there. Attached screenshot indicates the difference. Additionally , in the log file i see:

Unable to get timeZoneSpec attribute: error reading value
ConvDb: getFolderConvToken unable to open db /var/opt/axigen/domains/xyz.net//conversation.idx/16/952 for reading, domain xyz.net account fred

Any ideas or suggestions? Something seems to have failed conversion or some sort of permission error. Although /var/opt/axigen is owned by axigen:axigen

Sorry to hear about your problem.

If the problem is still present please answer back on the mail where you have received X.4 beta details and mention this problem.

I really hope you have read carefully the note that you should not use the beta in production (but into your test environment) as its intention is to provide a heads-up for the new features that will be introduced in X.4

It seems there is ab bug in the conversion view. All mails are there (Inbox, Sent etc.). Go to Settings → Appearance → configure and switch off conversation view. After that all mails are visible again.
