Check if your ISP blocks port 25. Many ISPs do to prevent spamming. From the axigen server, try to connect to that address with the nc command. you should see a response, after which you can press ctrl-c to exit.
➤ nc -v 142.251.175.27 25
Connection to 142.251.175.27 port 25 [tcp/smtp] succeeded!
220 mx.google.com ESMTP 41be03b00d2f7-c1e7d7a4dcesi49312122a12.433 - gsmtp
if you just see it sit there with no “succeeded” message, then your ISP is blocking port 25. my ISP does this, so i set up an account with Amazon SES for outbound delivery. this is better anyway, since many RBLs have public/residential IP blocks along with addresses for low-budget hosting servers. SES includes reputation control, so you’ll have a much easier time getting your mail into the inbox instead of the end user’s spam folder.
