Downloading mailboxes with admin account

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to download the mailbox of a user on axigen as administrator?
I’m having trouble logging into the webmail of the user (page keeps refreshing) so as a workaround I want to download everything so I can see what’s inside there.

The best approach in this case will be to search the affected account for invalid messages (with purge option) using the steps from:

and if the reported behavior still occurs run the repair procedure for this account using the steps from:

https://www.axigen.com/kb/show/88

Hi Florin,

Thanks for your reply. I’ve tried the searching for invalid messages and repairing the account, but so far I haven’t been able to get into the mailbox. It seems that this is a system-wide issue as no user currently can access the webmail. The loading bar keeps getting to ~15-20% and then the page refreshes. I’ve tried mounting a filesystem so I could extract the emails but I’m getting an “Cannot create FUSE mountpoint” error. Even the error logs don’t show me much information.

Note: for privacy reasons the real domain on which the server is running has been changed to webmail.domain.tld.
Also note: The webmail is running on https, but if I add that I get a message that new users can only post 2 links, so I removed the trailing https in the referrer.

What version of Axigen do you have installed ?

Hi Florin,

Thanks for getting back to me. When looking further at my installation I can see that it’s running Ubuntu and not FUSE so I think that’s the issue

I’m running Axigen version 10.0.0 (Linux/x64).

Do you think an update/upgrade will fix the issue?

Yes, that behavior of Webmail is a know issue for Axigen 10.0.0 and my recommendation is to update de latest version of Axigen 10.2.2

I just ran the update script, but it says “Your current version (10.0.0) have no available patches”.

How can I proceed?

The upgrade script is only for minor updates.

In this case you should follow the steps from below KB article:

Note that the upgrade procedure is the same from 10.0.x to 10.2.2.

And after you upgrade run the update script you mention to obtain the latest patch.
