Little bug when renaming log files

Hi, i changed log files names, but for some reason (maybe in rotation) names will be reverted to originals. Examples:

  1. extensions cannot be changed to “.log”!!!
  2. i renamed security events file in “sicurezza.txt” now is again “security.txt”.

This is important for fail2ban jail because look into “sicurezza.txt”.

Thank you for your message.

Please know that we could replicate the second example (2). The security file name returned to security.txt after restarting Axigen.

However, we could not replicate the first example (1) as after changing the file name, for example, to the IMAP service to imap.log, after rotating the log files or restarting the Axigen service, the name remained imap.log.

Therefore, in order to better understand this situation, please let us know the current version of Axigen that you use, the OS of your Axigen machine, and the steps you use to replicate the renaming log files to .log

Maybe, in 1) example, name and ext were edited both.

Now i’m in peace with Axigen… i don’t want edit nothing :slight_smile:
My next step is to find the correct configuration on my nginx VS!
