No domains showing in cli

I need to repair a mailbox that acting weird. When I entered the command update domain name mydomainname.com it tells me that it says the domain doesn’t exist. I then tried LIST AllDomains and it returned an empty list. I know I have two domains that are active. I’ve just logged into the Webadmin and it’s saying there’s no domains either. Any ideas? TIA

Not sure what was going on. After doing some searches related to domains disappearing I found a post that mentioned using an old config. The recent config backups were all after the server went wonky. So I did one from January. After launching Axigen I went into domains and nothing was there as before. So I decided to reload the original I’d replaced and, voilá, my domains are back and the problem domain is now handling emails properly.

Well spoke too soon. The problem account is still having problems. When I tried running the CLI repair I got the same answer domain not found and list alldomains responds with no domains found.

And today the domains are gone in Webadmin

use the axigen.cfg for 2 days ago or last week

Thanks for the response Mohammad. I’ve tried several different previous .cfg’s and none work. And I did make sure owner and group is axigen. Axigen will start everytime. When I log in to webadmin and it has no information about the server. No domains, no license key, no logs, etc. I’ve just given up. I’m doing a clean install and recover from backup to start.

Are you sure you legged in with user admin? To webadmin?
This happen when a subadmin user log in with no privilege.

Yes I am logged in as Global Admin. There are no sub admin accounts

Then you need to search in to critical logs to find the reasons.
For windows in event viewer, in Linux /var/log/mail
