Setup in Xfinity connection

I have an ISP providing service to my home, and a router configured on my internal network. Under a previous ISP my server worked fine. Now it doesnt. I have found that due to traffic concerns and security the ISP is blocking the following ports: 0/tcp, 25/tcp, 67udp, 135-139/both, 161/udp, 445/tcp, 520/udp, 547/udp, 1080/tcp, 1900/udp. The SMTP port 25 is blocked in both inbound and outbound connections. Is there a configuration of Axigen that I could employ to get my server functional again?

I’m sure that you can change the SMTP receiving listeners to a different port, but the sending computer will always send e-mails over port 25 as that’s the standard port per the RFC. At one time, there were services you could purchase that would accept e-mails on your behalf (point your MX record to them) and redirect the e-mails to you over a different port, but I haven’t looked for many years.

Since Xfinity blocks ports, I didn’t choose them as my ISP. Thankfully, I have options where I live. I do believe that Xfinity has a business offering for a few extra $$$ that will unblock those ports.
