Could you provide more details regarding the feature of editing (like changing) the received email’s subject? Are there any other mail clients that offer this functionality and you missed it in our WebMail client?
Regarding the second question please know that we’ll implement labels, which will also be synchronized via IMAP; however, colors for the labels are not currently part of the scope.

Thanks for the info about the new and upcoming Labels.
And about the Edit Email Subject, you pointed it correctly. Changing received emails subject as we like for our own references as we are using shared accounts with multiple users accessing them.
Mail Clients offers this for example
TB with addons Edit email subject
Outlook with the connector
We would like to see if the webmail client could do it as well before doing a trial for some users to work directly on webmail client.

Just to understand better the use case could you provide some examples of received subject and what kind of changes you like to made on them? Are you trying to implement a “basic” ticketing system based on WebMail interface and its capabilities?
We like to understand as much as possible the final use case in order to assess if this is something that may add a benefit to a larger set of Axigen customers or it is just a very small niche that may not cover the needed development resources.
For example, I have checked the place where our customers are encouraged to add suggestions and vote for possible Axigen new features (here) and could not find any references for something similar to your suggestion. And this could only point that this request it is not quite popular. Nevertheless this does not mean that it is worst to discuss it as maybe it will map to a possible list of features that are considered to be added but have not yet reached our roadmap.

Example:
Is putting a Job Oder number for the specific job in subject for all the message trails before and after Job Confirmation / Order Confirmation.
As we edit the subject defends on the status of the inquiries. If apporved / confirmed we are putting specific JO for the job, If cancel / did not commit we are putting different status on the subject as well.
Editing subject is being used to determine if the inquiry / case is being handled already by a User. This is to prevent users to work concurrently on the inquiry / case. (This can be solved in future with the upcoming labels as you said inwhich works on IMAP)
And in general that we can modify our incoming subject like as a reminder / hint / prefix we want without editing the email itself and save it on drafts.
It is not popular because it is not implemented or even not known to many. It will be a long shot but worth a try.
