Axigen 8.1.3 Release Notes

Dear Axigen Friends,

We are proud to announce you that we have released a new patch version, Axigen 8.1.3.

This version supports FreeBSD* 9 (on the pkgng system), defaults to enabling SPF, DomainKeys and DKIM checking in new installs and comes with a performance improvement in the Outlook Connector and support for RTL languages in Internet Explorer 11.
It also addresses a number of bugs reported in Axigen's WebAdmin, CLI and POP3 components and is linked against openssl 1.0.1h (that solves a possible man-in-the-middle attack in older versions of openssl).

To see all that is included in Axigen 8.1.3, please consult the detailed list below.

As always, you will be able to begin the upgrade to the version 8.1.3 of the Axigen server and Outlook Connector by visiting the Downloads Area on our website and by downloading the desired product kits.

We would also like to remind you that, according to our technical support policy, only the current major Axigen version and the one preceding it are supported (i.e. at this moment, only the 8.0.x and 8.1.x product versions are eligible for receiving technical assistance).

Should you like more information about the Axigen 8.1.3 release, or should you be interested in other types of license upgrades or renewals, please feel free to get in touch with us at anytime or contact an Axigen local partner.

Best Regards,
The Axigen Team

Important Note about Axigen Outlook Connector
- Please note that the new Axigen Outlook Connector v8.1.3 is working _only_ with Axigen Mail Server v8.1.3 (or newer). This is due to an optimization which required changes in the IMAP protocol. This optimization will bring a significant improvement in performance for deployments where large number of users are using the Axigen Outlook Connector connected to a single Axigen instance
- Outlook Connector versions prior to 8.1.3 will continue to work with Axigen Mail Server v8.1.3
