This autumn brought two events that reminded us why we do what we do — and why people matter just as much as technology.
BCC 2025 in Bucharest felt close to home, not just geographically but in spirit. It’s the kind of event where you recognize faces, meet new ones that feel familiar, and talk openly about projects that go beyond pure business. We met people from universities, public institutions, and companies genuinely interested in building things that last. There was a sense of purpose in the air — a mix of curiosity, responsibility, and optimism about how digital transformation can actually serve people, not just processes. For us, it was also a moment to reconnect with our local community, to share what we’ve been working on, and to listen.
GITEX in Dubai, on the other hand, had a different kind of energy — bigger, louder, faster, and somehow both overwhelming and inspiring. You walk through the halls and see the world compressed into a single space: cultures, languages, ideas, and ambitions colliding and blending at the same time. We met with partners, potential clients, and representatives from embassies who opened new doors and perspectives for Axigen in the region. Some meetings were planned, others happened by chance, and a few led to long conversations that continued well beyond the booth. There were moments of surprise and learning — the kind that only happen when you show up somewhere far from home, curious and open.
Andreea, our head of sales, often says that these trips are less about “selling” and more about understanding what drives people on the other side of the table. That proved true once again. From a spontaneous dinner with a potential partner from Pakistan to a discussion with a member of the UAE embassy about digital infrastructure, each encounter had its own rhythm. Some were fast-paced, others unfolded slowly, but all of them reminded us that business, at its core, is built on trust and genuine dialogue.
We came back with a list of follow-ups, of course — people to write to, partnerships to explore, ideas to shape. But more than that, we returned with stories. Stories about shared ambitions, about the similarities between how a Romanian and an Emirati company look at email hosting, and about how technology can quietly bridge worlds that seem far apart on the map.
Representing Axigen at both BCC and GITEX this year wasn’t just about showing what we build — it was about showing who we are. We’re proud of our product, but even more proud of the way we do things: with curiosity, integrity, and care for the people we meet along the way.

We look forward to continuing these conversations — in person, online, and wherever curiosity and collaboration take us next.
