AXIGEN Releases New Version with Personal Organizer

Bucharest, June 11, 2007 – AXIGEN, the professional messaging solution vendor, announced today the commercial release of AXIGEN Mail Sever 4.0. The new version focuses on planning and scheduling requirements, thus coming with a Personal Organizer module available from both AXIGEN’s WebMail and the email client Outlook.

AXIGEN Wins ServerWatch Best Communication Server
Having time management and mobility in mind, AXIGEN Mail Server 4.0 addresses requirements of both companies relying on their own mail server and ISPs offering improved services to their customers. The Personal Organizer is therefore available for both Business and ISP Editions of AXIGEN.

The Personal Organizer comprising tools such as calendar, tasks, journal, notes and collaborative support is available from both AXIGEN’s WebMail and email client Outlook. Outlook availability is supported by the newly introduced AXIGEN Outlook Connector, which also enables most Exchange-like features, including server-side Search Folders (e.g. Unread Messages, Large Messages).

"In our efforts to permanently adapt AXIGEN to current business demands, the development roadmap targets expanding the Outlook-WebMail synchronization to comprise address books and contacts. At the same time, we are focused to expand our business relationships by adding more partners to our worldwide distribution network. In the first five months of 2007 alone, our partner network has been increased by 60 percent," stated Oana Bornaz, AXIGEN CEO.

As a result of an ongoing localization process, the WebMail interface of AXIGEN Mail Server 4.0 is available in 13 languages, as follows: English, Romanian, Norwegian, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, German, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, Swedish, Czech and Polish.

The AXIGEN Mail Server has recently won the ServerWatch 2007 Product Excellence Award for the Communications Server category, after having competed with four other messaging solutions – Zimbra, CommuniGate, Merak and Lotus.
