Setting Up Axigen Clustering

Axigen Documentation

Axigen server can be setup to run in one of the following modes:

  • Standalone – the server is not part of a cluster or is using the obsolete clustering execution mode;

  • Frontend – the server acts as a frontend, with proxy services enabled;

  • Backend – the server acts as a backend, with proxy services disabled;

The cluster key represents an identification string used to identify members of the same cluster. This key must be set to the same value on all servers in a cluster.

Frontend addresses list contains the listeners of the CLI service for all frontend servers in the cluster. If this server is also a frontend, its own CLI listener should not be listed.

Backend addresses list contains the listeners of the CLI service for all backend servers in the cluster. If this server is also a backend, its own CLI listener should not be listed.
