Hardware Requirements
Axigen has the following minimal hardware requirements:
-
CPU: x86-64 (Intel or AMD), x86-64-v2 instruction set or later — Intel Nehalem (2008) and newer, AMD Bulldozer (2011) and newer
-
RAM: 4 GB
-
Available space on SSD / HDD: 2 GB free space for installation purposes and default configuration files.
The actual space Axigen will take on your hard disk depends on the number of accounts, domains, mailboxes and the size of messages stored on the mail server.
For high performing servers, we recommend a mix of SSD and HDD where the queue, domain and object storage should be on SSD and the message storage be on highly stripped hardware-based RAID volumes.
